What Is the Pre-IV Exam?

The Pre-IV Exam is a quick and convenient health review completed by a licensed provider. It helps establish a provider-client relationship, review your health history, assess medications, and determine whether IV therapy is appropriate for you.

Quick & Convenient

Most Pre-IV Exams are completed through a short telehealth-style visit prior to your appointment.

Valid for Ongoing Care

Your exam remain valid for 12-month unless your health history, medications, or wellness needs changed.

Designed for Safety

The goal is to protect clients by identifying risks, contraindications, and appropriate treatment options.

What to Expect

• Complete your intake form before your appointment.

• Good Faith Exam/Pre-IV Exam to review your medical history, allergies, medications, and wellness goals.

• Receive provider clearance before IV therapy is administered.

• Notify Joyheart IV Clinic if your health status changes before future appointments.
